ANECNOTES

We invite you to an evening of songs and the stories around them that we are billing as “Anecnotes”.  Hosted by Clint Tomerlin, this evening is intended to give a “listening room” vibe & more intimate musical experience to our community.

To help peel back the curtain, Clint will be interviewing a friend/local musician as they play through their own songs & telling the stories behind them.

We invite you to join us at Five Stones Sunday, September 8th at 6:00PM to enjoy the music, inspirations & stories. Clint's next guest will be “Owen Stroud”! 

Owen Stroud writes about what's on his mind, so there's no telling what wacky trains of thought his lyrics will capture. Owen's songs are both wisecracking and poignant. He's firmly rooted in the Texas folk songwriter tradition and also partial to a good pop/rock production. 

As you're waiting for his performance at Anecnotes, you can enjoy his newest record The Handwriting Was Mine, a celebration of regional geography and personal return to homeland.
