About the event
Justin Upshaw is an acclaimed songwriter and entertainer local to the New Braunfels, TX scene. You may recognize Justin from the successful acoustic Duo "Colton's Kin" that he plays around the Texas hill country with his wife.
Justin has had recent success with a sold out show at the Redbird Listening Room in New Braunfels in January of 2026, a TV Appearance on FOX 7 Austin, and his debut show at Gruene Hall in the front room. He is also the host of a weekly Songwriters night in Gruene @ The Gruene Grove Speakeasy where songwriters gather weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7-10 to share their stories and songs.
His songs are crafted and inspired by typical subjects of the human experience including songs about love, heartbreak, Jesus, bad advice, and of course Bolt cutters.
